McLoud, OK – Crash on I-40 Near McLoud Exit Causes Injuries

McLoud, OK (September 29, 2025) – Emergency crews responded on September 29 to an injury crash on Interstate 40, near the McLoud exit. Footage from KOCO 5’s Grand Casino Hotel & Resort camera showed multiple Oklahoma Highway Patrol units, local police, and at least one ambulance on scene.

The collision, reported shortly after sunrise, caused traffic to slow in both the eastbound and westbound directions as responders assisted the injured and cleared the roadway. Authorities have not released details regarding the number of people involved, but witnesses reported at least one person receiving medical attention at the scene.

Tow trucks were later called to remove damaged vehicles from the roadway. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating what led to the crash. We send well wishes for a quick recovery to those injured.
