Dunn, NC – Two Injured in Motorcycle Crash on Ashe Ave

Dunn, NC (July 7, 2025) – Two people suffered injuries early Sunday morning, July 6, after a motorcycle crash in Dunn’s 4200 block of Ashe Avenue.

The incident happened shortly after midnight. Authorities reported that a Nissan Altima, carrying three passengers, attempted to turn around by backing into a driveway. As the driver reversed onto Ashe Ave, the car moved into the path of an oncoming motorcycle.

The motorcycle struck the Altima, causing both riders to be thrown into a nearby ditch. Emergency responders transported the injured motorcycle riders to a hospital in Raleigh for treatment. Their conditions have not been released.

The three people in the Altima were treated at the scene and did not require hospitalization.
