Albuquerque, NM – Injury Accident on I-40 E Near Rio Grande River

Albuquerque, NM (September 24, 2025) – Emergency responders were dispatched Tuesday morning, September 23, to a crash with injuries on I-40 East near the Rio Grande River in Albuquerque.

The accident was reported around 8:20 a.m. Paramedics provided medical assistance to those hurt, but the number of people injured and the severity of their conditions have not yet been confirmed. Officials have also not released details on the number of vehicles involved.
